When I retired in 2022, I had a few things I wanted to work on: decluttering the house, learning to play guitar, memorizing the periodic table and constructing a New York Times Crossword. Four years and 30-something rejections later (record-keeping is spotty at best), here we are.
When I got the acceptance email for this puzzle, I quickly jumped out of it to look at the puzzle details. Coming back to my inbox, the same email indicating the puzzle was accepted now appeared to say it was rejected. I couldn't imagine how I could have misread the email so badly. It turns out I received the acceptance for this puzzle and a rejection for another puzzle less than an hour apart, and they were right next to each other in my inbox. Whew!
